What is Immich? Is CloudKu just reselling it?▾
Immich is a fantastic open-source self-hosted photo manager. We host it for you on dedicated servers, manage upgrades, backups, and support — so you don't have to. You get a great product without the sysadmin work.
Where are my photos stored?▾
On dedicated servers in Germany (Hetzner data centers). All connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Hardware-encrypted storage. We're the only ones with admin access — and we never look at your photos.
Why not just self-host Immich myself?▾
If you're a sysadmin, do it! It's a great project. If you're not — managing servers, backups, port forwarding, dynamic DNS, OS upgrades, security patches, and database migrations is a part-time job. We do it for you for less than RM 1/day.
Can I migrate from Google Photos?▾
Yes. You can use Google Takeout to download your library, then upload to CloudKu. We're working on a paid white-glove migration service if you want us to handle it for you.
What happens if I cancel?▾
You get a one-click full export of your library. We keep your data for 30 days after cancellation in case you change your mind, then it's permanently deleted.
